libgeo-postcode-perl software package provides UK Postcode validation and location, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgeo-postcode-perl
libgeo-postcode-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgeo-postcode-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeo-postcode-perl *
You will get with libgeo-postcode-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
